Small Things #3 - Toast Print

I sat down with a bowl of soup and two pieces of toast.  I couldn't be bothered getting a plate so I put my toast on the clear plastic table protector.  When I picked up the second piece of toast there was a patch of condensation.  I drew some lines and dots thus creating a masterpiece.  I thought so anyway.

Small Things #2 - Hand Wash

I refilled the hand wash bottle and it made tremendously gloopy stretchy bubbles.

It was possibly even better than when water coolers make that "buloop" noise as a blob of air rushes to the top.  I always try to keep the water running long enough for it to cause bubbles.

The blob in the hand wash was pretty fun to watch.

Mesmerising.

People say "Small things amuse small minds." as if it's a bad thing to see beauty in the unexpected or find fun in the ordinary.

I feel sorry for people who don't stop to enjoy the little things.

The photo does not do justice to how cool the bubbles were.

Small Things #1 - Sunset Silhouette

Sunset through the kitchen curtains onto a wall.

The beautiful pattern on the wall was amazing to witness.
The photo - not so great.
The caption - even less so.

I just ate a third of the actual food in my fridge - a whole bowl of pumpkin soup!  It was delicious.  My Dad makes good pumpkin soup.  I would never have seen the beautiful pattern on the wall if I hadn't been waiting at the microwave for my soup to heat up.  Hurrah for Dad's pumpkin soup.
